FM
List the seven navigator windows and describe their function.
  • Browser- Gives a File Browser, Provides you with a file of Effects, and Instruments. It also gives you file folders to enter your own sounds and "my favorites".
  • Attributes- Provides all the information of the sound. It describes the quality of sound
  • Master- Shows the level of the sounds such as volume input/output. You can change the levels of the volume, the "polyphony, the unison, the pitch, the portamento, the arpeggio, and the quality
  • Effects- Gives you options to modify the sound
  • Arpeggiator- You can modify the arpeggio of the sound like either accent each note or elongate it. You can also change the note order, the octave, and even transpose the note.
  • Easy/Morph- You can change the LFO, the Timbre, the Timbre Envelope, and the Amplitude Envelope
  • Expert- Sows the layers of the sound. The process of layering the sound.
How do you change the sounds on this synthesizer?-You either go up on the search bar and click....and then choose a sound.
What are Effects? Effects are the modifiers of sound.
What effect makes the sound like a distorted guitar? - Modify the overdrive and the tube amp.
What effect makes the sound sound like it is in a cave? -Modify the Reverb and the "PsycheDelay"
What is the function of the pitch wheel on the bottom left? How can you control it with your keyboard? It changes the pitch of the sound when you press the key on the synth. You can control it by riding the far left pitch/blend wheel on your synth.
What is the function of the Mod wheel on the bottom left? The alteration of the effect on the sound.
Can you describe the overall quality of the sounds on this synth? Its really good. The sound builds up, there isn't really an attack. It peaks during the middle. There is reverb, a delay (echo) when I stop pressing the key.

Where do you change midi and audio settings? You go to file on the top and click the MIDI and audio settings button.
Where do you change the sounds? You go to the search bar next to file. Click it and choose one of the sounds.
There are three views for this synth, describe the function of each. Synth- to set the basic settings of the patch/sound . Attributes- it shows you how the sound is made. Also, you can control the level of the kick, the kick vari, the cutoff, the bandwidth, the variation, the more, the hihat, no chords. Browser- you can make your own sound/ patch.
